OUR FARM
Since 1850Hacklebarney Farm Cider Mill is located in beautiful Chester, NJ.
A popular destination for all ages Our farm is now in its 7th generation! Come and see why we are different. Family oriented, peaceful and a great way to spend your day. We are located 1/2 mile from Hacklebarney State Park. If you have never been...we highly recommend it. It is truly one of the most lovely parks in NJ. Historic downtown Chester is also a good destination. The Main Street takes you back in time...full of antique and gift shops. 
The Early Bird catches the donuts!
We suggest coming earlier in the day, to beat the rush. We open at 10 and usually have a full supply of all items at that time. If you wish to call and place an order, we will put items aside for you, if we have them. You can come into the donut counter area pick up. We try our best to accommodate. (We cannot hold/place orders during Holiday pick up times( Thanksgiving week) or on SUPER BUSY DAYS in October). |
The Cider MillOur Wood-pressed apple cider is made fresh on the premises from an exclusive blend of apples. We make our cider using an oak rack and cloth process and press it slowly to give us a virtually sediment free cider. Our cider is then pasteurized using USFDA approved UV pasteurizer to ensure you safe and delicious tasting cider.
Cider Pressing demonstrations are offered, free of charge, most weekends in late September and throughout October. Please check our FACEBOOK page for pressing times. |
Bakery and Farm StoreHOMEMADE PIES, fresh cider, our "FAMOUS" CIDER DONUTS, apples, soups, breads, hot mulled cider, candles, soaps, honey, jams and jellies, gifts and more.
